Who is Merixy?
Angela Rijo is a businesswoman born in the Dominican Republic, who has traveled an exemplary path of improvement in the world of cosmetology, styling, and makeup.
Angela herself begins her career in this demanding and competitive world, since her arrival and establishment in the city of Miami, more than 20 years ago.
In 2010, Rijo placed all her creativity in the development of her brand Merixy Cosmetics, where she offers an exquisite concept to fill all the needs and tastes of professional makeup in a single brand.
Angela's hard and tireless work, beginning to be known as Merixy, starts to show very good results and extends her lines of business with the opening of her first Merixy Beauty Salon in 2012, where with great joy and the push of her entrepreneurial force, it also becomes a generator of sources of employment for women with her same vocation of service.
Life smiled at the now known "Merixy" when in 2017, she was surprised with the news of a breast cancer diagnosis, a situation that put her hectic professional and business life on hold to focus on her healing and speedy recovery.
Cancer became a learning and growth tool for Merixy, and after winning the battle, she manages to reinvent her life from a perspective of strength and faith.
In 2020 with the arrival of the coronavirus, and a change of mentality towards a more natural life, Merixy like few, initiates a path of research and creation of formulas to meet the hair needs of its clients without having to use chemicals, and this is how she manages to find the formula for its star product Células Madre Superadas by Merixy.
With his tireless spirit to help more women and normalize the use of 100% organic products, she uses her social networks to share much of her recipe and starts a movement where many of her followers begin to undertake in their communities with this wonderful recipe.
At present, Merixy is dedicated to the training of new entrepreneurs through the teaching of her recipe, and also to the commercialization of her product Celulas Madres Superada and Gotero Caída Cero, while she undertakes in her new beauty salon located in Midtown Miami. Today, Merixy's loyal audience on Instagram and TikTok is looking forward to the next launch of its new natural products: Merixy's Shampoo, Leave in and Organic Drops.

El arduo e incansable trabajo de Ángela, comenzando a conocerse como Merixy, empieza a mostrar frutos muy buenos y extiende sus líneas de negocio con la apertura de su primer salón Merixy Beauty Salon en el año 2012, donde con gran regocijo y el empuje de su fuerza emprendedora, se convierte también en generadora de fuentes de empleo a mujeres con su misma vocación de servicio.
La vida le sonreía a la ahora conocida “Merixy” cuando en el 2017, fue sorprendida con la noticia de un diagnóstico de cáncer de mama, situación que puso su agitada vida profesional y de negocios en pausa para poder enfocarse en su sanación y pronta recuperación.
El cáncer se convirtió para Merixy en una herramienta de aprendizaje y crecimiento, y luego de haberle ganado la batalla, logra reinventar su vida desde una perspectiva de fortaleza y fe.
En el 2020 con la llegada del coronavirus, y un cambio de mentalidad hacia una vida más natural, Merixy como pocos, inicia un camino de investigación y creación de fórmulas para atender las necesidades del cabello de sus clientas sin tener que hacer uso de químicos, y es así como logra dar con la fórmula de su producto estrella Células Madre Superadas by Merixy.
Con su inquietante espíritu por ayudar a muchas mujeres y normalizar el uso de productos 100% orgánicos, utiliza sus redes sociales para compartir gran parte de su receta e inicia un movimiento donde muchas de sus seguidores comienzan a emprender en sus comunidades con esta maravillosa receta.
En la actualidad Merixy se dedica a la formación de nuevas emprendedoras a través de la enseñanza de su receta, y también a la comercialización de su producto Células Madres Superada y Gotero Caída Cero, mientras emprende en su nuevo salón de belleza ubicado en Midtown Miami.
